About Cedars Ridge

Cedars Ridge is a landscaping and property care company based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. We work Bucks County only, within about twelve miles of home. We have been reading properties like yours for ten-plus years, and the company is built around the part most people never get: being told plainly what is wrong.

Ask anyone in Bucks County about their last landscaper and you will hear a version of the same story. The estimate that never came. The crew that stopped showing up in August. The voicemail box that filled up and stayed full. The work itself is rarely the complaint — it is the silence around it.

Silence is a fixable problem, and the fix is not a bigger marketing budget. It is a shorter map and a telephone somebody carries.

What we actually do

Everything the other good companies in the county do. Weekly mowing and fertilization. Mulch and bed work. Spring and fall cleanups. Landscape design and planting. Paver patios, walkways, retaining walls and fire pits. Tree and shrub care. Drainage and grading. Irrigation. Snow and ice management through the winter.

We are not claiming a technique nobody else has. Good crews in Bucks County have been building good patios for decades. What we are claiming is that you will always know where things stand — what it costs, when we are coming, and what happens if something is wrong.

Why twelve miles

The service area is deliberately small. Langhorne sits in the middle of it, and we run out about twelve miles in every direction — Newtown and Richboro to the north, Yardley and Washington Crossing to the east, Bensalem and Bristol to the south, Warminster and Southampton to the west. All of it inside Bucks County. We do not cross the river into New Jersey and we do not take work in the Lehigh Valley.

A tight radius is what makes the promises above possible. A radius this small is a decision, and it is the reason a return trip is a short drive rather than a lost day. Almost every company you call will be close to you. Fewer of them will be free on the morning your paver settles.

Knowing the ground

Working one county closely teaches you things a regional operation never learns. The heavy clay that runs through Middletown and Lower Makefield will drown a new shrub if the hole is dug like a bucket. The deer pressure in Newtown, Upper Makefield and Washington Crossing will take a fresh bed down to bare stems over one winter unless the plant list accounts for it. Half the older Levittown and Fairless Hills lots have seventy years of settling that quietly directs water at the foundation, and no amount of mulch fixes a grading problem.

That is the kind of thing we would rather tell you during a free walk-through than discover together in year two. Nobody learns that from a plant catalog. You learn it from the callbacks.
